Kahr cw9 experience

The grip on the CW9 seems long and is made even longer with the mag inserted. Does anyone find it difficult to conceal the grip?

No Safety on the Kahr?

Am I right with this assessment? No safety? Just pick it up and squeeze?

No safety on the kahr besides the double action trigger pull. I absolutely love mine. I can conceal the grip no problem. It fits in most of my pockets, but I find that to be a bit tight. So I carry mine iwb appendix and it's very comfortable plus it's invisible there.

I believe kahr truly hit a homerun with this affordable, reliable, and very concealable gun. The trigger pull is sweet and it's very accurate and easy to shoot.

My polymer Kahr was junk. Went back to the factory three times before they gave up on it. Made me lose my confidence for that brand.

Paul7, Junk? How so? Could you elaborate? My Kahr has been flawless other than one failure to lock back, which was shooter induced. Calling it junk is kind a of harsh... Maybe you got a lemon...

I have a CW45. Its a wonderful gun, as is the CW series 9mm. The only things I dislike are the sharp serrations on the front and back strap, the ultra tight throat that wont feed anything I load for it reliably and the plastic sights. All 3 issues can be cured without spending alot of money.

USP9, IMO the P9 is the superior grade gun. The guys over at kahrtalk.com mentioned the CW series as being "economy" level guns, hence the cut corners and price tags.

Hope it helps.

(Paul7, most of the guys over at kahr will make whatever is wrong, right)

I never understood why some people dislike the grip serrations or find them uncomfortable. I'm an electrician by trade but I don't think my hands are any more calloused than average.
