I stopped looking after getting one! Its the perfect blend of weight, accuracy, size. Mine has never missed a beat other than not locking open on empty, but that is a non issue for me. The trigger is awesome, no safety to worry about in a panic, cant really think of a bad thing to say about mine. You are limited in holsters that are available. I had a kydex OWB made for mine, the guy didn't have a blue gun to mold it with, so he used my gun.

I bought the CW9 for my Grandson in anticipation of some work he was to do for me around my farm. Since he did not live up to his promise , I kept the CW9 for myself and have been carrying it in a Galco pancake holster as my EDC. I really like it much better than the PM9 I bought a few years ago as I can shoot it with much better accuracy and better control with all fingers around the grip. For the price , it is a real fine carry gun.

Purchased one for my girlfriend and loved it so much that I got me one in .45. Now my Springfield XD sits in the safe and the CW45 rides the hip!

I've been very happy with my CW9. So happy that it has replace the S&W 642 that I've been carrying for 15+ years.

All I've done is have the rear of the slide stop beveled a bit and the trigger cleaned up...I've even shot mine in the local IDPA match

9mm So your another ex CC revolver guy!! I had 20 years with a Taurus 85. Moving to a kahr is sort of a sideways step for a revolver shooter. Still a long DA type trigger. Just smoother and lighter.

You will find about ever good brand liked buy someone. I carry on the front side and have had a comp-tac minotaur neutral for 4 years. Problem is there most be 30 darn good holster for you to pick from. Buy a cheap desantis pocket tuck . Not just for pockets !! It is adjustable for and aft along with some height adjustment to aid you in finding the right place to carry and the right tilt or "cant" for the holster or straight up and down. Then try to decide what you want to try.

Can't go wrong with the CW9
I saw one at LGS, picked it up and it wouldn't let go of my hand.
It's the one I throw in the cubby in the car when I leave the house.
Haven't found a holster yet, but I did order a leather Yaqui style that should be here tomorrow.
I may get a Crossbreed or Kholster or some such later.

Have not had a problem in 1000 rounds. I plan on getting an Alien Gear IWB for mine if my wife does not claim the CW9. I did put on a Hogue a Hand All Jr. grip sleeve.

Mine was great, until it wasn't, then I learned customer support is lacking.

If you're OK paying overnight air shipping (~$65) to send it back with no assurance of repairs if your frame rail breaks like mine did, go for it, otherwise I suggest you look elsewhere. I'm moving to S&W Shield.

Here is their "boilerplate" RMA request reply, further Emails with the photo attached have gone unanswered.
Good afternoon

The following RMA has been created for your firearm; BF20.

The Federal Gun Control Act does not prohibit an individual from shipping a firearm directly to the manufacturer for service or repair.
However, some states or localities prohibit this. If you live in such a location, please have a Federally Licensed Firearms dealer ship the gun. It will be returned to the dealer after being serviced.
IF YOU ARE A DEALER WITH A CURRENT FFL, PLEASE INCLUDE A COPY OF YOUR FFL IN THE BOX EACH AND EVERY TIME YOU RETURN FIREARMS FOR SERVICE.
HANDGUNS MUST BE SHIPPED PREPAID VIA UPS AIR OR FEDEX OVERNIGHT. HANDGUNS SHIPPED GROUND SERVICE MAY BE ASSESSED AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE OF $40.00 AND REPAIR WORK WILL BE DELAYED. Persons who do not hold a Federal Firearms License are prohibited by federal law from shipping a handgun by mail. Handguns mailed in violation of the law are impounded by the Post Office.
Enclose a letter that includes reference to the factory "Return Authorization" Number, your name, address, telephone number, and serial number and model of the firearm. Describe in detail the trouble you have experienced with your firearm, or the work you wish to have done. Stating only that the firearm "needs repair" is inadequate information. Please enclose copies of any previous correspondence. Please do not include holsters, custom grips, or accessories with any firearm being shipped to the factory for service.
Service work performed, other than approved Warranty repairs, will carry a minimum hourly charge of $65.00 plus a $25.00 return shipping and handling charge. Retain your tracking number when shipping firearms for repair. This will allow you to track the status of your firearm shipment either by phone or the website of the carrier. Please allow three weeks for the return of a handgun.
Kahr Arms ships repaired firearms via FedEx "Adult Signature Required". Please make sure the "Adult Signature Required" from FedEx is not waived for your address. If "Adult Signature Required" is waived at your address then you are responsible for any loss as a result.

They sent me a prepaid envelope to ship it in when I needed work done on mine. Didn't cost me a thing.

To answer the OP, I love mine. A Kahr K9 was my first gun, I have owned and sold several Kahr over the years when something new and shiny caught my eye, but I always ended up regretting it and buying another Kahr, and my current CW9 is hopefully going to be my carry gun from here on out.

How long ago? They are not being helpful to me at all this month.

When I got my first Kahr (P40) the mag catch was defective, I sent an Email explaining the issue and they dropped a couple of replacements in an envelope and sent them to me. But that was six years ago. So until this most recent experience I'd have said their support was good. Things change, unfortunately apparently not for the better with Kahr.

I invest too much time and expense in practice ammo to continue to carry a gun that the company won't stand behind, so I'm switching to S&W Shield, S&W have been above and beyond supporting my M22A -- over 60K rounds, they've just sent me return labels and quickly fixed it with no hassles whenever anything breaks. So far, none of my other S&W guns have ever needed any repairs.

You'd especially think Kahr would really want to make a frame failure right if only to avoid the negative word of mouth, I mean that is the firearm, anything else I can fix myself if they'll sell me the parts.

I was hot to buy a CW380, and saw my first one at a gun show the weekend after I first contacted them about this frame failure, but decided I'd better wait to see how this issue played out before buying, darn glad I did!

If you will be happy with having to pay to ship it back for repairs of a frame failure, go for it, mine was great until it broke and now they are not being helpful at all.
