Which of these would you choose, and why?
I personally think the Kahr has the better trigger.

Thanks in advance

I have the Kahr PM9 and the LC9, and as it stands today the PM9 is way ahead. Now if the Galloway Precision trigger bar and hammer kit every become available, it might be a very close call. But out of the box it the Kahr is the winner.

I've never shot either but have considered buying both. In my hands the LC9 feels better. You may have the opposite experience. I wouldn't buy either without handling them first. In the end I didn't buy either but the LC9 is still on my list to buy. You don't have to use the safeties on the LC9 if they are an issue for you and I'm also told the magazine disconnect can be disabled (but that probably voids the warranty).

Cant say enough good about my CW9, shoots like a fullsize gun, yet nice and thin for comfortable CC.

I have heard nothing but good about the Ruger, and would try to shoot both before purchasing either.

The Kahr, hands down, wins this bout. More comfy, and that alone while firing made me a believer.

Ask what I like between the TCP and the LCP!

I had a LC9 and didn't like the trigger. I ended up choosing the nano over the Kahr- but I'll get a shield eventually.

I had an lc9....good gun with a lot of nanny state gizmos on it. I no longer have the lc9 but have aquired a pm9.

I was wanting a S&W Shield but since none were available anywhere, I looked for something else... so I got a Kahr CM9.

I absolutely freaking love it so much... I can shoot it better than my 1911, it recoils incredibly light and softly for such a small gun(I was INCREDIBLY surprised when I first shot it), and the trigger is amazing.

The only gripe: Kahr's magazines SUCK. It is very easy for the top round in the magazine to wobble around and it will shoot itself right out of the magazine... Not a big deal since I doubt I'll carry additional magazine(s) on me when I start carrying it concealed. What DOES bug me is I purchased a 7rd extended magazine for it, and it is very ammo-sensitive, the spring pressure I think is too weak to keep the top round "nose up" like it should, and as a result it was having fits with feeding Federal 115gr FMJ ammo... it will nosedive UNDER the feed ramp, and you need to clear the jam by ejecting the magazine and racking the slide.

I just purchased another 6rd magazine so I'll be covered there, and while my 7rd magazine works great with Magtech and Aguilla 115gr FMJ ammo, if it's so finicky that it won't digest 115gr FMJ of any brand(brass cased at least) then I'm not so sure I can trust it. On www.kahrtalk.com you can read about modifying the follower to help it feed but this is such a common problem that this really shouldn't be happening.

The gun is still really freaking awesome and worth it, just know that buying the 7rd magazine for it may disappoint you.
