I just purchased a CW9 at the tampa gun show. I shot around 250 rounds for the kahr break in period straight, with out any problems. This is a really nice conceal carry weapon for me to use, it is light and pretty small. The tightness of the gun is really nice too, there are not any rattles of any kind. I am going to carry it pretty much anywhere I go.

Any one else have a CW9 or a kahr and want to talk about here feel free!!!!!!!

And not so good Pics of the CW9 but we are trying.

I have two Kahrs, a E9 and a PM9. The PM9 carries well in a pocket (the "tactical" niche I wanted it to fill) and is much easier to shoot than a lightweight snubnose revolver. I did have to have this one repaired before it would function properly, but it was taken care of. The E9 (an older, "economy" version of the K9) is a good shooter as well.

I got CW9 to save wear and tear on my PM40 and my wallet. I figure I've saved enough in ammo costs with the price difference in 9mm vs .40S&W to have paid for the gun these past two+ years. Mine had to go back to Kahr -- didn't make it thru a box of ammo, but its been fine since and seen a lot of range use, pretty much 50 rounds everytime I go.

I've found the ProMag Kahr K9/P9 mags I got from MidWay work great in it, and they are half the cost of the one from Kahr. Head bad things about the ProMags for the Kahr P40 so I've not tried them, read the reviews at www.midwayusa.com

Kahrs

I've owned a K40 Covert and a P40. Sold 'em both.

Loved the trigger, accuracy and feel.

Hated the low capacity and weight.

Got my wife a CW9 for Christmas. Since she hasn't gotten her carry license yet, I've been carrying it. I love it.

As soon as I see another used one, I'm getting it for myself!

I have 3 Kahrs myself, an E9 a PM40 and recently bought a P45. Love the smooth DA trigger and they're accurate and well built. The E9 is one of my favorite shooters bar none. Just finished putting 250 rounds thru the P45 and I had no problems at all. If they made an all steel version of the .45 I'd snap it up in a heartbeat...

I have owned my Kahr CW-9 for 'bout a year now; bought NIB at the Dallas-
Ft. Worth trade show in '07. It is a great little firearm; NEVER having failed
during function firing; and quite often used as a CCW during the HOT days
of summer, here in Old Dixie'Land~! Enjoy :D ;)

I had mine for the same reason exposed here. Price, quality, performance and weight. Use it as CCW all the time...but I also found the new PM .45 and I just passed 150 rounds thru it with no malfunctions. I love Kahrs! Now I change calibers often.

To my CW9 I tried to install tritium night sights but factory does not have the front sight with tritium. I had to modify the slide to accept a Glock front sight and Eureka! it worked all right. Now I have it with night sights!

Regarding my PM .45, it came with very sharp edges in the backstrap checkering which caused a blister in the web of my hand. A little work with a piece of fine sand paper was all it took to smooth it out.

I carry a CW9, and I find it easy to carry and shoot-I did add a grip sleeve to aid in control and had to send the barrel back because of poor accuracy, but Kahr made it right
