Kahr MK9....thumbs up or down?

rebut. u got the elite trigger, rest assured of that. the K9 as of today is still shipped with the NYPD trigger, no other gun has that trigger either. There is no difference in poundage of the elite/NYPD trigger, only length of pull and all kahrs EXCEPT the NYPD trigger have 3/8" travel, where as the NYPD trigger has 1/2" travel. I sure can't feel the difference and i own a K9 even. shoots like a dream to.

Do you know when they changed the trigger on the (standard) M9093 to the Elite Trigger that they use on the (Elite) M9098? "Back in the day" they had different triggers. I have read that the "standard" had an eighth inch longer trigger pull.
BTW, it is still thumbs up on the MK9...just to keep in line with the original thread.

I got an email from a Kahr rep concerning the different trigger types. I was asking about my new K9.

In terms of the trigger, your gun does not have the Elite trigger. The K9 “Elite” is the only K series model that comes with the Elite trigger. Additionally, the MK, P and CW series pistols also have Elite triggers.

I appreciate the info. As I said, I knew my PM9 Came with the Elite Trigger, but I thought the standard MK9 did not but didn't feel any difference between the two. I'm glad to get the good news that they both have Elite Triggers.
