Kansas/Missouri/Oklahoma THR Shoot

Hey guys, it's about time for the next one. If we are still going by the second Saturday, every other month, the next get together should be August 13. Any questions, comments or concerns?
Keyhole, are we still on for doing this?

K, I'm heading to Missouri today. I'll be there for a week.

Well as of this point, I may be out of town that weekend. The Junior Club has taken a break, due to the hot weather. I'll check, and see if there will be any of the members there, to have the range open, ( if anyone is planning on making the trip.)

Can we not just change the date if it is more feesible? I would say lets push it out to the 27th. Just a thought.

I'd say that either day would work. If'n I can't get there, my son is always looking for an excuse to go out there

Maybe we can scare up a few more members, and make it a bigger event?

I should be good for either the 13th or the 27th with the 27th being the better option. Can we get an idea within the next couple of days which would be the best for anyone else that would be interested?

Alright guys, the 13th is what was agreed upon in the last thread. Unless I hear anything different, that's when I'll be showing up at the range.

I've been informed that I have to get fitted for a Tux for my youngest's wedding this weekend. Believe me, I'd rather be shooting.

The next weekend should work, but don't worry about moving anything to suit me.

Found out this morning that I am working this weekend. My next free weekend now looks as if it is the 27th. If you go shoot this weekend have fun and I will try to make the next one. If we push this out the the 27th I will do what I can to make it.

Where is Pittsburg? More specifically, how long of a drive from South KC?

I work weekends, but if it's within an hour or so, I maybe able to make an appearence.

I will let some other local THR friends know though...

I do have vacation scheduled in September, perhaps we can organize a shoot for that weekend...I'll get back with the dates...

New to forum, "re" new to shooting

I'm in the K.C. Metro. Was wondering what constitutes membership, and how often you folks get together. I'm extra-lo-buck, and I don't get much time away from work, but I'm keen to learn from those more experienced.

Alright, we've got a map of the area here. If you have any questions on how to get there, feel free to ask, I'll point you in the right direction.

Just as a reminder, be sure to bring your own food and water. The town isn't very far away if people would like to make a lunch run.
There are 'facilities' at the range. 50,100 and 200yd rifle, 25yd pistol and a shotgun area (I'm not sure if it's operational). The rifle range has target boards to post paper targets on, I believe the pistol range does too.

Start time will be 10 o'clock, end time will be whenever we get kicked out or everybody leaves.
