Cool! I'm glad there's some interest now. I thought we were going to have to bag it.
Just went to Jackson tonight and they had half the lanes down for maintenance so I still haven't shot my new Winchester 9422 lever action. Doh! We're going back tomorrow night to try again.
So, madkiwi and I will plan on being at Los Altos on the 30th. Whooohooo!

I will be there on Saturday Oct 30, 1000 am at the Los Altos range. I've never been to one of these get togethers before. anything we need/should being besides guns and ammo. is there any particular place everyone meets? can you buy food out there at Los Altos?

Bill2- Guns and ammo are ALWAYS an excellent idea! We usually try and do a little bbq action as well. So I guess we should start the list:
I'm in for a bag of briquets if someone can bring lighter fluid.
I'm also good for a bunch of flank steak for the q' and the plastic forky/knifey/spoony stuff.
And I'm still trying to unload a bunch of PMC .223 so if anyone needs to feed a Mini14 or whatever I can set you up with all you need... within reason of course (why am I getting rid of this ammo? We'll once upon a time when I was still in the business, I was able to pick up a couple cases pretty darn cheap... but that was before I found out it wouldn't function reliably in any of my ARs worth a d**n. So there you go.)
We usually meet at the 40yrd tin-can range and spread out from there. And I promise, cross my heart, that I'll remember all the plastic bottles and jugs that I've been saving... and keep forgtting.
No food available at the range itself other than soda and junk food snacks.

Oh yeah and I forgot to add that yes, I will be in my traditional Hawaiian shirt. So any one not familiar with the local THR faces can see where we're at. Trust me there will only be one reeeeally ugly blue hawaiian shirt at the range that day; and I'll be in it.
