Keeping a gun at the ready?

That would depend entirely on how CLOSE? you are to the coffee table.

The picture I posted last night is accurate arm's length.

AND I'm big on program compliance. If I leave the couch the gun goes with me. It's 730, I don't move around a lot this time of night. If I go to the bathroom the gun goes with. If someone knocks on my door the gun DEFINITELY go with while I tell who ever in not interested and I'm not opening the door.

I don't need to be convinced that accessing a pistol on a table next to me can be done more rapidly from a sitting position than drawing from a covered OWB holster. I accept that. I do not see how anyone could argue with it.

However, we do have visitors on occasion, and keeping the gun out of sight is preferable for us. Keeping the gun in a holster accomplishes that, and it also minimizes gun handling, at the expense of a somewhat slower "draw".

Couple of things would a EMP lock up my safe digital keypad??
Don’t see much communication (on These post about flashlights ,on Gats or handy )family NO shoot please
Know the laws , in AZ. If you shoot and the Perpetrator (in your house/kicking your ass )
Passes the charge is murder on you !!

If an EMP hits, you will have a lot more to worry about than not getting into your digital safe! I hope you don't have every thing you own, locked up in a digital safe.

Have a manual 3 /turn dial-type also

More planning; gat too ,but have y’all seen the cold steel hog spear,18” inches of double edge love .

I've been bad about keeping a gun on my person. I got fat, honestly, and that made carry uncomfortable.

Having said that, I'm currently relaxing in my favorite chair, with my favorite shotgun leaning in a corner right behind me.
I too am fat. I ankle carry a Glock 43/43X when I go out wearing jeans or pocket carry similar when I am wearing cargo pants or shorts. Unfortunately I don't think I have ENOUGH fat to stop the projectile from reaching my gooey parts.
