Kel-Tec KSG- anyone actually FIRED one?

I know there's plenty of threads on this gun already, but most of it just seems to be rumors, opinions and preconcieved notions about Kel-Tec's QC. Has anyone actually FIRED one of these? If so, what was your impression?

As far as I know it is still in the pre-production phase and no consumer units have shipped.

Hello from Kel-Tec!

We have been receiving an abnormally large number of calls pertaining specifically to seeing the KSG for sale on sites like Gunbroker.com.

The bottom line is this: they are hoaxes. Kel-Tec has not shipped any weapons that are allowed to be sold. Up until this point all weapons shipped are for testing and evaluation purposes only and any testers caught selling a testing weapon will be dealt with on our end.

We have personally investigated all instances of KSGs being sold online and have deemed them all to be untrue. We caution the public to be wary of these sales as they do not have the product to provide to the winner of these auctions.

When the KSG starts shipping to distributors for resale we will make an announcement here on the site to let everyone know.

I'm a 'Kel-Tec' kind of guy in that I love a good, reliable gun that doesn't break the bank. In fact, my main CCW piece is a P11 which arguably is the smallest high-capacity 9mm one can find and I have a Sub-2000 which is a brilliant design (foldable and can fit in a gym bag). That being said, Kel-Tec is notorious for 'pre-announcements' concerning their new guns and rarely ever meet their intended production date. I really don't know why they are even taken pre-orders on something that is quite a ways away from being available. The design of their new shotgun is quite interesting but I can't see paying what the current MSRP is. I really don't even need that pump but can easily see myself eventually getting one once the initial kinks are worked out.
