Some time ago I broke the ejector of my P11 (I would say at well over 1000 rounds count)

I called the tech rep and mentioned a little tiny burr on the ramp of my barrel and what they would suggest to polish it (never gave me any problem anyway), he said he need it to see it and as we were discussing how to do it (pic, email and so on) he quickly changed his mind, "you know what, I'm going to send you a new slide assembly for the inconvenience of your broken ejector"...well thank you!

I did put about 200 rounds through this barrel and finally yesterday I did clean it..and this is what I discovered...about half inch from the muzzle there is a very distinct ring scratch across the lands and grooves...in some spots is barely visible in other I could "feel it" rubbing it with a toothpick.

Nothing like it in my other barrel.

Obviously I clean my firearms with brass rods and brushes.

What could have caused this?? I do not think is tooling...accuracy does not seem impacted anyway, actually maybe this barrel is probably more accurate than my original one....

Its from when they reamed the hole prior to rifling it.

A dull reamer, or a chip got stuck under one of the flutes.

It wont hurt anything, other then collect jacket fouling faster.

If it shoots reasonably accurately, I'd not worry about it. If it doesn't, contact Kel-Tec, send them the photos you showed here, and they might send you a new barrel.

Already did contact them...they want the barrel back, look at it and sending another new one if it's the case. Excellent customer service as usual.

I like the customer service they are providing to you and am glad to see you are letting others see and appreciate the good service.
