I'm very happy with my Kel-Tec P32 and want a 9mm for concealed carry IWB/OWB.

I like the Glock 26, but started thinking for the price of the Glock I can nearly get a P11 and a P3AT from Kel-Tec! The P3AT is kindof redundant since I already have a P32, but it's got a bit more pop, nothing wrong with that.

What's the consensus on the P11? It's thinner than the G26 so it should be a little easier to conceal, and I can get 12-round factory mags for it. :D

The long DAO trigger is OK with me, I think that's not a bad thing for SD situations.

Or would I regret not getting the Glock? I feel the G26 is more 'proven', but the P11 has been around awhile too. Thoughts?

The Glock 26 is longer, thicker, heavier, not as high, holds one more round, has a better trigger, and costs more than the Kel-Tec P-11.

Check them out side by side, hold them both, shoot them both if possible.

I do not like "safe action" for carry, especially in a pocket. It is just too easy to pull that trigger for my taste. I prefer the long, smooth DA of my P11 that requires a deterimined squeeze a stick or something cannot accomplish. It's just a personal thing I guess, but I don't like "safe action", want a real DAO.

I've had my P11 9 years now, got it when I got my CCW. It has never bobbled and is 3.5" at 25 yards accurate (very good for such a small gun). It is only 14 ounces empty and if you have a big pocket, you can pocket carry this thing. I love it, myself. It is my favorite carry piece. I just have the standard 10 round mags, but the 12 rounders are now available. It is +P rated for limited use. I have fired thousands of trouble free rounds through mine and have fired it in a couple of IDPA matches and it did well against bigger competition. I shoot my bigger Ruger P90 better, but it don't carry like this thing does.

If the trigger doesn't bother you, I think you'll like it. Mine's got the 11 lb trigger in it. I think they come with an 8 lb trigger now. I haven't bothered with the conversion to the lighter spring. I shoot this one quite well.

I have shot mini-Glocks, and have owned a P-11 for a long time.

The Glock is a better-built pistol, and has slightly better ergonomics and a significantly better trigger. You undertand the economics. If you get the Glock, I doubt you'd regret it. If you get the P-11 and the P-3AT, I doubt you'll regret it, either. A properly working P-3AT is the ultimate hideout gun, IMHO.

The Glock's just too blasted dangerous for pocket carry, IMHO.

Kel-Tec quality is inconsistent. My P-11 physically b-r-o-k-e three times with not more than 500 rds fired through it.

I'd take a good look at the Taurus PT-111 Millennium Pro. A little heavier than the Kel-Tec, but much better construction and trigger pull.

I'm not looking for a pocket gun - I've got a P32 and J-Frame for that. I think the G26 or P-11 will carry really well IWB/OWB.

Agree about KT's inconsistency, although they've improved alot in the last couple years.

I figure $249 could be money well spent if I get a good P-11, or it could just make me wish I'd coughed up another $200 for the G26.

The P-11...

Its a fine gun with a unique personality.

I found mine very accurate and reliable, and put a lot of rounds through it. I never really got accustomed to the long DAO trigger.

(When shooting in an IDPA match, for example, my first course of fire was always "iffy" and fine thereafter. That trigger takes a bit of relearing when you haven't shot it for a day or two. I'd do poorly in the first string, but well thereafter. That made me wonder whether the gun was right for me as a CCW gun. I switched to other guns. Others don't seem to have this problem.)

Skyy is coming out with a 9mm this spring. It is the same size as a Rohrbaugh, but $600.00 cheaper. I am waiting for the results to come rolling in, but it does sound very good.
