Kel Tec P15

Like how the side plate is screwed onto any S&W revolver? Aside from the fact it doesn’t look as sleek, I have never understood what the big deal is.

Point taken, but the 'clamshell' construction is more the issue. Most manufacturers manage to make their frames without having to screw the two halves of the gun together, and Kel Tec would get more attention from me if they could, too.

I never had, or shot a Keltec. They never had anything that interested me, but even though it has a grip safety, I might be interested. For IWB I prefer thin, but I’m 5’9” and only weigh 155#.
I’m thinking the recoil should be nasty

I might be wrong because the P15 is thinner but I don't think the recoil would be that bad. The P-11 was the same weight as the new P15. The recoil never bothered me. I wound up changing to a different carry & giving the P-11 I had to a friend. It worked & was decently accurate although it did have a long, catchy, heavy trigger. It just took some getting used to.
