I carry a Kel-Tec P3AT in my back left pocket, wich a Desantis Nemisis holster. Anyways, today i was at a party (no i didn't drink) and i was doing a lot of sitting in different positions, sometimes on the floor, sometimes on the couch and on the rare occasion, on other people.

Anyways, when i got home and went to take my gun out of my pocket, i noticed somewhere along the night the mag release had been pressed and the mag was not fully in the gun.

Has anyone else had an issue with the magazine release being pressed in the pocket? If so, what did you do to fix this issue?

It hasn't been a problem for me and I am getting up and down from the floor, crawling around with my baby, etc. I even use the same desantis holster. However, a person on another forum used this trick for his.

Seeing how that the purpose of the P32/P3At is not prolonged firefights, the need for a speedy reload is really overstated. He shaved the mag release button down so it won't get pressed while in the pocket.

I don't know how far down he shaved it, but it shouldn't be hard to find a balance between "secure in the pocket" and functional.

First problem was ya used a SYNTHETIC HOLSTER:D

sorry couldnt resist..

easiest solution is to trim the mag. release...I did it on my P-32 and P3AT and do not have that problem anymore..It isnt a speed rig...so lightning fast reloads are not normally an issue..

On my oblivion rear pocket holster's that are for lefties I cut a relief notch in the rear of the panel just for this reason...seems to work fine...

Yea I carry left rear pocket as well...

I think the problem is, the Nemesis is not intended for rear pocket carry!
I have carried with a Nemesis in my side pocket for years and never had an unwanted mag release.

I missed the rear pocket carry part. That's why I've never had a problem. I carry mine in a front pocket as well.

I carry my P-32 in a leather "billfold" type rear-pocket holster. Punched a hole that the magazine release fits in, for just that reason. Never had a problem, and I've carried it daily for about four years.

I have had a p32, front pocket, Nemesis holster, release it's mag on more than one occasion. EDIT: Left hand carry, by the way, if it matters.

I plan to shave down the mag release button, just haven't gotten around to it.
