I was looking at a few small pistols today, AMT backup 9mm, Bersa Thunder, ect. and a Kel-Tec P3AT. I noticed the magazine wiggles in the Kel-Tec a bit after it's been inserted. Is this normal?

The gun is so small that is barely fits halfway down the palm of my hand and I only have medium sized hands! :D

Nice light trigger though, definately an improvement to the two P32's that they've had collecting dust for the past year.

I'll check mine when I get home, don't recall mine doing that but it may.
I found the trigger was pretty much the same as my P-32s, long but not heavy.

Thanks. I didn't mean to say it wiggled up and down. I was wondering about side to side, because it did that a little bit, nothing major though, I was just wondering.

I can forceably move it left and right, but when fully loaded and inserted, it is under quite a bit of compression, so it doesn't move around much on its own.

mine wiggles side to side like that. but no feeding problems so far.

Ok, thanks guys. The magazine of course wasn't loaded, so that's probably what it was. I'm picky so I try to find something wrong even when there isn't anything wrong. :)

I think I might pick that thing up one of these days.

Seeing as the gunshop doesn't have a single Kahr in stock. :(

i picked one up about a month ago now for my dad for christmas. i put 100 rounds though it so far. few FTeject's. Pretty sure all of us were limp wristing it cause that thing sure does a have a bite. after that no mater how fast i tried to pull the triger no problem. mag is tight now, abet it is loaded. its a bear to reassemble tho. thats about my only complaint.

I finally got to fire my new P3AT last week. I did the fluff n' buff and cleaned and oiled it before use.

No problems whatsoever!! With all I had read, I was expecting a few issues, but it had none. (only about 100 rounds through it though.)

The "sights" are pretty much worthless, but this is more of an across the room problem solver anyway.

Fit and finish are nothing to brag about, but it goes bang reliably. (so far)

The power to weight ratio is fantastic, and it's very slim. Great BUG.

Mine "wiggles" a bit side to side. Not a concern, it has been reliable.

Bowlcut - you say "it's a bear to reassemble". How so? Some think you have to pull the slide back all the way to put the assembly pin in & there's no slide stop to hold the slide back. Is this what you mean?

Contrary to the owner's manual, you just need to pull the slide back about a quarter of an inch or really less to pull the pin out or put it in.

Maybe you mean getting the guide rod in the hole, that can take a number of tries.
