I'am sorry I created such a commotion in my last post. [The little pistol that wont shoot] In review my P-32 pistol was giving light primer strikes, and often failing to fire some ammo. After contacting Mark Mueller @ Kel-Tec, and describing the problem, Mark said the problem was most likley the hammer spring was weak and he would send me one. I said in my post [firing pin spring]. I was mistaken. Sorry. During installation of the spring, I also did a fluff and buff as recomended by the Kel-Tec Owners Group. The primers are now struck noticably harder compared to the previous ammo that was shot, and of the couple hundred rounds fired there were no failures of any kind. The mission was a sucess. I would like to thank everybody for there input. Toolman

Well that is just great. Rick Mueller is a super guy and I got the typo about the Hammer Spring. No big deal! If the forum assisted you then it did it's job.

Been meaning to mention, I've tested several brands of .32 ball in my P32. Most ran at 750-800 fps.

Aguila averaged 860 and feels noticeably warmer.

I like that P32, been 100% through 400 rds. or so, decent accuracy, extremely light and thin, and the springs are light enough to make it easy to load and use. Put a dab of hi-vis paint on front sight so I can pick it up better.

The Kel Tec pistols are only designed for SAAMI USA made ammo. They use Federal as the base line test ammo at the factory. FYI.

Kel-Tec's a good company, and they're willing to outright replace your firearm with a brand new one if they can't fix it. I heard a story of someone whose gun had been back to the factory 2 times. On the 3rd time, they destroyed the gun and stamped the serial on a brand new one of the latest generation.
