Kel-Tec Sub2000 M&P 9mm version: what size magazines?

Does it only take the 17 round magazines of the full size M&P 9mm, or will it take the 12 round magazines of the M&P compact?

If it's like the older version that took S&W Model 59 series mags, it will be the full size (and extended) magazines, no compacts.
