Keltec PF9 Malfunctions...

Help explain to me what would cause my buddies PF9 to do this:

After around no more than a hundred rounds put through the gun, one day at the range it turned from a double action to a single action. The hammer would lock back causing there to be a hair trigger...

Afterwards there were several FTF's and FTE's. The gun seemed to work flawlessly before..why would it all of the sudden start "acting up"?

It is a Kel Tec some are good, some need help. Send it back to the factory.

Could be ejector pin "walking" which is a known problem in the PF9's without the newest frame design.

There was also a trigger spring pops out poblem that a new deeper spring groove fixed in later models.

Check out ktog.org. Compare the serial number to the list and that will tell you what "model" of PF9 you have.

Kel-Tec has a lifetime warranty anyway. They will fix it whatever it is.
