http://www.lrc.ky.gov/record/14RS/SB100.htm

"AN ACT relating to concealed deadly weapons and making an appropriation therefor.
Amend 237.110 to allow both paper and electronic applications and renewals for concealed carry licenses; establish a $70 application fee and a $25 fee for duplicate licenses requested electronically; change the period for State Police to either issue or deny a license from 60 days for paper applications to 14 days for electronic applications; change the number of requests made to other states for license reciprocity from twice per year to once per year; APPROPRIATION.

Feb 18-introduced in Senate"

This looks like a good bill, I heard about this at
http://forum.opencarry.org/forums/showthread.php?120256-Senate-Bill-60 #12

Using this method, would costs $10 more, but would cut the waiting time to 14 days.

"You will be able to file directly with State Police, bypassing the Sheriff. The extra $10 fee is worth it. If you don't like the extra money, go the old way. This combined with the shortened time for the background check will make an application very fast. "

.

establish a $70 application fee? That's pretty steep, not sure what the current fee is. I don't like the $35 we have to pay for our unalienable Rights.

I like the 14 days part though, if passed it might pressure them to look towards Constitutional carry like WY, AZ, etc. instead of trying to keep up with these ridiculous requirements that criminals will ignore anyways.
