Kimber will announce (though I don't know through what channels) a variation which will be a limited run. They will take orders.
Then they will turn on the machines and make that many guns. Might be 300. Might be 1000. Probably one or two day's worth of production.
Then the machines are turned off and set up for something else. If you miss the opportunity, you're SOL.>
If this is the case, and with Kimber's producing many,many 1911's, what will the quality be of the limited production run?
Sounds to me that the folks at Dan Wesson are putting a lot of 'heart and soul' into the limited production run of 150. Been hearing good reports from the owners of the newly released Razorbacks.
Hope KImber gets it right. Do you think they will be using external extractors?
