I bought a Stainless Target II in 10mm as soon as they hit the shelves. Mine does not like the old Norma 170 gr. loads but will eat everything else just fine (including my 1408 FPS 180 gr. handloads). If you intend to shoot a lot of full power, a stiffer recoil spring and shock buff would be a good idea.
As an aside, this critter is an absolute tack driver. It is bone stock other than the Hogue paux ferro finger groove grips, and I see no reason to change it.
Something to always keep in mind is that the extreme spread of loads available for the 10mm present an incredible challenge for the gunmakers. You have everything from the Hydrashoks (around 380 ft/lbs) to Buffalo Bore and Double-Tap pushing more than double that. That spread is similar to .38/.357 but present problems in autoloaders. Of all the 10mm's I've played with, only the S&W's and Glock were mostly trouble free with all loads. The 1006 is and likely always will be the best 10mm made.
