Kimber 1911 in 9mm

My LGS has a stainless/alloy Kimber 9mm LW in stock at a reasonable price. Maybe I have one more look. (I told him I need another 1911 like I need another hole in my head.)
I've had really good luck with Kimbers (7 or 8 so far) in all barrel lengths, but trend toward the 4" models.
And all of mine are .45acp. Okay, I do own a Dan Wesson in 10mm, and once upon a time owned an EMP (two, actually, after Springfield replaced the original...but that was a wretched experience).

Oh, and as regards Kimber availability, Kimbers are manufactured in NY, and due to Gov Coumo's "infamous wisdom", the factory has been shut down for an extended period of time.

Thankfully, belatedly (and not coincidentally) they are also moving to Alabama.
I believe the HQ has already moved and the manufacturing is "in the process" (a bit more work in acquiring a factory, moving machine tools, getting employees moved or hiring /training replacements) and setting up, etc.
But a happy outcome after all. Thank you, Gov Cuomo!!!

That would explain why I haven't seen any Kimber 45's for sale.
