The Trojan is arguably one of the best 1911s available under $2000 and considering it is $1100 under that limit, it is without a doubt the BEST 1911 deal on the market.

What do you guys think of the STI Ranger?Is it any good?Also,would an 8 rounder magazine fit into it?

I'd take the Trojan over any sub $1,500 off the shelf 1911 I can think of.

I've handled a couple Rangers but have never fired one and I don't personally know anybody that owns one.
