I have been researching these two and the reviews were initially not very good.
The truth about guns said their Cobra was shooting 9 inches to the left. And one sample locked up and had to go back to Colt. These could have been teething issues on a new gun? How is accuracy with your Cobras?
Another gun writer (revolverguy ) wrote about the k6s having broken firing pin issues. Kimberling told him they were designing the dasa models to have a stainless steel firing pin time fix issue. But, they refused to discuss how they would correct issue of titanium firing pin in their dao k6s. What! Why would they not fix this in all their guns?
It sounds like this issue continues on the Kimber revolver forum k6 owners with dao guns are still having to send back their guns to kimber with broken firing pins, while the dasa owners are saying they dry fire with no issues.
This is very concerning to me that a manufacturer knows there is an issue and fixes it on one type of action but not the other. Just WOW!
Maybe I will just stick with my 5 shot snubbies for now?
