Please note the pics of Swartz Safety on a Kimber Pro Carry II. With the grip safety fully depressed the plunger does not seem to rise very far out of the frame. It still has at least 1-2mm of travel possible(I can physically PULL it further up out of the frame). Note also the indentation in the firing pin block. The pistol works fine, now. I wonder, though, if these are items that need to be addressed before the pistol no longer fires. Thanks

If it ain't broke, don't try to fix it.

I can't help but notice how dry all the moving parts appears to be though.
Probably a good lube job would prevent wear and prolong the life of the gun more then anything you can do to the safety plunger.

RC & Kruzr, thank you. Would it be possible for someone to post a few pics of what "normal" Swartz post and block wear points look like?
