Yes, I know, I just grabbed what was there. I should have stepped out to my shop and done it there.

I would have pulled my Kershaw folder out of my pocket and used it! Problem solved! and no trip to the shop needed!

I think the knife had a flaw or something. I wouldn't think a milk jug had the ability to break a knife unless it was full of frozen water.

Try Rada Cutlery. I've had several my grandparents did as well. Decades of use and no breakage. Blades are about 1/32" thick too.

I don't care how skinny, sharp or what it cost, I would never own a knife that a milk jug could break. I'd be afraid to butter my toast with one.
