Knob Creek Video

Me too.

That looks like a fun time. I'm always relaxed and happy when I am around a lot of regular people with guns. Makes me feel safe.

That's the best video of Knob Creek I have ever seen. Makes me want to go.

R. Lee Ermy (spelling?) had a show on History Channel (may still). He dedicated the better part of a whole show to an event like this, a couple yrs ago. I'd love to attend and be able to afford to shoot. It can probably be found on youtube.

What part of "cold range except for the firing line" don't you understand? Virtually EVERY range I've ever been to has that rule, and for damn good reason.

Also, it's a GUN SHOW. People are handling things. That "no loaded guns permitted" is ONE MORE on top of the four basic rules, and it's there for SAFETY. How many times have you heard of people having unintentional discharges at gun shows, because some doof left a magfull in, something like that? I've personally witnessed one, and they don't have gun shows in St. Louis anymore because of it...

Sheesh - Next thing, you'll be calling for a boycott of KCR...

That looks like a blast. I almost went to the last one. i should plan on it next year.

Also my local range hosted the folks from Knobb creek for a free range day and full auto shoot. They had a wide range of guns to rent. If that happens again I will post up the info for the Indiana folk or for who ever wants to make the drive.

I love that place. I stated shooting at that range back in the mid - late 70's. Looks a little different now. I am going to have to make a trip back down there before I go back to Utah.

That's the range I usually shoot at as I'm from Louisville and it's only about 30 minutes away. Fair prices and a great place to shoot, definitely go sometime if you haven't been whether it's for the machine gun shoot or not.

Call the gun edicate police, the owner of the range called a magazine a clip!! :neener: :D

That's a great video. Wish I was there to get the brass.

I wish they discussed the costs associated with the shoot more.

For example, how is a 15 year old able to afford "his guns", and moreover, I always thought you had to be 21 to own a Class III license?

At any rate, seeing this video *REALLY* makes me want to head out there some day :D

Im there twice a year, just about 50 mi from it. When you guys show up, look for the guy with the ammo flares and other cant live without iems, stuck in his bag. Thats me. If you havnt been..video can NOT do the shoots justice. Saturday night shoot youll find me on the right wing of the line by fence , next two the GE Minigun thats there every year. AMAZING !

SWEET!!! I wish I lived in KY.

ne problem the gaint "No loaded Guns in the Show Area" so much for being pro-gun.

All it takes is one doofus there to have a ND and it's over for everyone. Besides, I'm pretty sure nobody is going to give anyone cause to use justifiable deadly force at a gun show.

I've never had a problem with gun shops and shows not allowing loaded weapons. First, anyone wishing to rob a place would be dumber than a sack of hammers to try it at one of these places. Second, while most of us are very conscientious about the 4 rules, there are some that aren't, and even those of us who are careful can have ND/AD's (see the thread about them). That'd be a quick way to ruin everyone's fun.
