Anyone try the Kore micro adjustable CC belts? I bought a couple of the Crossbreed heavy leather belts with the military style buckles a couple of years ago, and am not a fan. The buckle slips all the time, and I'm growing weary of dealing with them. Leather is very tough though. The Kore belt seems a better system, but just wondering if it ever slips, or doesn't wear well over time, etc.

I've been wearing a Kore belt for several years. I really like mine and the micro adjustment has been perfect. I have also carried multiple ways and have never had an issue with the belt. I have the black leather gun belt. It looks like any regular men's belt and the buckle is comfortable for me. I have recommended them to several people who carry.

I have 3. Two in nylon and one in leather. Oldest one of them is probably about 5 years old and they are the only belts I carry with. The ability to quickly, easily, and discretely adjust the tension of the belt holding up your firearm cannot be understated.

I have two now for about 10 months. I wear the black one with a G45, one extra 17 round mag, one pair of handcuffs, a cell phone and a badge. All with a suit and tie. The brown one is more for being dressed down. They work great. My only complaint is the buckle on the brown one is starting to lose its black color and the copper color is showing through. Probably because this is more of a belt I wear to work with my hands so it sees harder use.

I've got one, trained with it for many hundreds of hours presenting from the holster tens of thousands of times. These are my permanent belts now. I've spent 3 times the amount on belts, these are the best. They feel as stiff as my steel core belts, however the finish is not quite as durable. But the only place that scuffs is where I put my paddle holster on and take off, which it covers anyway. Plus they're $65 , so who cares. Aside from the stability of them, the teeth on the inside of the belt don't seem to wear down or break. Honestly, I dont know why they are so cheap for what they are. I bought a couple extras a few weeks ago for other shooters I train with, for xmas presents. They asked me about them at our last class.

I have a couple and they are pretty much the only belts I wear these days. As someone said they do take a little getting used to as they are stiff.

I've been wearing one for a couple of years and I will never go back to a "traditional" belt again -- whether I'm carrying or not. They are extremely versatile and comfortable.

I haven't used a Kore belt, but use Nexbelt, which looks to be the same approach and I won't buy another traditional gun belt again. The ratcheting adjustment is just that much more superior to traditional belts for CCW purposes.

I have 3 and one of them is a dress belt for church. I highly recommend them unless you have a large gut hanging over your belt. The belt buckle will dig into your belly.

I just got an email - 20% off sitewide, use code THANKSGIVING2023. Ends midnight 11/27.

I've worn gun belts for around 20 years now, whether I'm carrying a gun or not. I've had a few preferences over the years, but thought I settled on a favorite about a decade ago when I started carrying semi-regularly (on a non-resident permit when out of state). A bit before I was finally able to get my MD permit, I got a Kore belt, and it has been what I've worn for about a year and a half. I love them, I now have 3 (2 different leather belts, and a nylon belt, and I'm likely to get a different color nylon belt as well). I'll never say never, but it would take a lot to get me to make a switch again.

Do you just cut the belts yourself to fit your waist size . I am thin and I wouldn’t want all that extra length . That question goes for the nylon and leather belts .

Yes, they come with instructions on how to do it. It may be the right length for you already, depending on what length you order. I have a 36 inch waist, so I had to cut mine. It's easy.

Yeap you can cut them, there are inch markings on the rear so you can cut for whatever size you like, just make sure to give yourself a little extra slack.
