Is there a serial number range for the Kel Tec 3AT one would be wise avoid?

The ones starting with 'H' have all the latest.

I have an early one S# 006XX.

If you have any real problems they will fix it and give you any "updates" you need.

Mine is SN#11xx and have had NO problems

The assembly pin was modified not long ago. If you get a new one it will have the newest pin. The old one was prone to backing out on some P-3ATs. It can cause damage to the frame if you don't catch it. They don't really fall out but typically just back out just a bit. Mine did that on my 27xx. Called KT and they sent me 2 new ones free under warranty.

My P3AT is serial number HOYxx and it has be perfect through about 700 rounds.

just got off the phone with Kel-tec...

Said that they JUST GOT THE CHROME SLIDES IN FOR THE P3AT...you need to get yours there NOW, they wont last long...cost is $20.00 for the upgrade...Didnt ask about s/h...
