JPFO ALERT: KT ORDNANCE UPDATE

You'll recall our alert regarding the BATFE raid on KT Ordnance, manufacturer of 80% frames that -- when fully finished by you -- can be used to make AR-15 rifles. Owner Rick Celata, who had suspended sales after the raid, has informed us that his lawyer indicated he should return to production.

The 60th anniversery edition of Shotgun News (July 20th issue) features a multi-page spread on KTO's products, which you can order from http://www.ktordnance.com/kto/ (and be sure to mention JPFO!). These 80% frames are definitely not UN-approved, so support a patriot and thumb your nose at the UN at the same time!

Additionally, several groups, including JPFO, the Montana Shooting Sports Association and The Claire Files online community are organizing a series of fundraising events for KTO.

JPFO is donating several items to be auctioned, including a
"Boot the BATFE" pin and t-shirt, an _Innocents Betrayed_
DVD (a copy of which the BATFE displayed to local reporters
as part of Rick's "subversive, anti-government" material)
and a copy of _RebelFire: Out of the Gray Zone_. We'll let
our supporters know as soon as the auction goes up.

In the meantime, due to the raid and the resultant hold on sales, Rick's financial situation is seriously stressed. Montana Shooting Sports Association is collecting donations for Rick's legal and personal use. If you'd like to help
out with a direct donation, please visit http://www.marbut.com/KT/ for details.

The BATFE doesn't want you to make your own firearms, and wants to make an example of Rick. Don't let "The Gang" win this one -- please help KT Ordnance with a purchase or a donation.

PS: Who's "The Gang"? Find out at www.jpfo.org/thegang.htm!

I'm just curious - didn't BATFECES confiscate his stock and equipment? How is he making more unless he either bought new machines and equipment or his stuff was returned?

I have been told to not do something. When I asked if it was illegal or against regs I was told it was not but they preferred I didn't do it.

Nothing that we can tell - he was selling BATFE approved 80% receivers and parts kits, along with tools to build them. All legal, so far as I can see.

I think it was the BBQ/build-party that really got them going. Buy an 80% lower, finish it on his machinery but with you at the controls. Legal, but the BATFE didn't like the idea I suppose.

No idea.

I figure that they are trying to say he sold 80% frames without getting approval - even though he did get said approval for them. Something about "illegally manufacturing firearms" on the warrant, perhaps?

Do keep in mind that this agency to "bust him" is the same agency that said a 14" shoelace with a loop on both ends is a machinegun. Same agency that says a malfunctioning (slam firing) semi-automatic rifle is a machinegun, regardless of the fact that it is uncontrollable firing and very dangerous as well, due to unsupported cases.

Just keep that in mind.

EDIT: Or perhaps, as said before in another thread, it was that someone in Canada bought some 80% frames, finished them, and sold them to murderers?

BTW, one thing the ATF agents were interested in was an assortment of books and video material Celata had, which they deemed "subversive". Wanna see it? Here's what they singled out:

Remember back when TFL helped raise money to produce Innocents Betrayed? I guess all the ex-TFL members here are subversives too.

I was unaware that warrents could be sealed as secret. that is flat out BS (edit: the concept of a secret warrent is BS, not that they don't exist, I simply do not believe that they should exist, what with our concept of unreasonable search and seizure, checks and balances, glasnost.. oops wrong secret police)

Its one thing to accuse a man openly and honestly.

but if you are too chicken Sh*t to stand up and meet the accused and say, here's what we think you are doing, this is why its illigal, this is why we are going to search your home and buisness, this is why we are going to sieze your records.

that is not something a man does, thats something a spinless cockroach does.

I was upset by this, but now I'm disgusted as well.

I can try to post an mp3 of an iterview with Rick Celata on the matter, that I recorded off of internet radio if you want.

From Claire Wolfe's blog:

OKAY, GUYS. GET THOSE BIDS READY. Our first eBay auction to raise funds for Richard Celata and his family has just gone live.

This one is for a fat package of goodies from JPFO: tee-shirt, lapel pin, DVD, novel (autographed!) -- AND membership in the Producers' Circle for the upcoming film, The Gang: Using the Law to Destroy Your Freedom and Security. Total value: more than $300. Go!

And all you gun-bloggers, if you want to pick this announcement up and run with it, you go, too!

Here's the link to the eBay auction:

Ian, what's your source for that picture and the ATF's interest in those items?

This is important.

I'm well familiar with the "Citizen's Rule Book" in the top middle area and I suspect the "Documents Of Freedom" is similar: copies of the Constitution, Bill Of Rights and others with NO editorial whatsoever.

If those have been declared subversive, and that can be proven...that is a serious step in the wrong direction.

Mp3 Interview with Rick Celada & Aaron Zelmann on the KT BATFE Raid

Here's the Interview, it's with both Rick Celada & Aaron Zelmann of the JPFO.
(Nothing is edited in this except for my editing out the commercals to get the file-size down)

The interview is done by Alex Jones on his talk radio show, but I encourage those who don't like him to listen to this anyways, Like it or not he is on our side.

The interview is 44 minutes long and I was only able to shrink it down to 20MB so it may take a while for people with slower connections to stream the whole thing....
(working on a way to download an archive it)

Talk Radio Interview MP3

Zedicus - torrent! That's where it would really shine; it's the best way I know to quickly spread something and keep it live for a long, long time.
