I lost the ejector to my p3at.I called them Tuesday and had a new one in my hands Friday-free of charge. An actual person answered the phone on the 2nd ring and were very polite.

My p3at has been flawless and with this kind of service, would make me consider another keltec.

That's awesome. Some bag on KT's as being a crapshoot, but Kel Tec's commitment to making it right (without hassle and with courtesy) takes all the risk out of it. Taurus' repair/customer service dept, you taking notes? This will be on the test...

First time to disassembled my own P3AT, I swear it took me 5 minutes to figure the proper position to reinsert that little doohicky! They are great pistols. Thanks for the post. It's good know there are still some great companies around.

thief

I think some one stole my kt ejector while I was cleaning it. they have legs you know, Caught one of my ejectors about 2 feet from the door once, I know it was headed back to cocoa, fl.

I sent Kel Tec my old P3AT to be rebuilt

It did take several weeks to get it back but the gun was totally new, including a new receiver, except for the barrel and plastic grip. They even polished my barrel.

My cost was $0.00. They even paid to send the gun back to me.
I did pay the shipping to KT.

I have a 40 S&W conversion for my 9mm P-11. The 40 S&W does appear to be rough on the aluminum receiver.
I asked Kel Tec if the receiver got to the point where I thought it might not be safe to shoot anymore, could/would they replace the receiver and how much would it cost me?
They told me, yes, when I think it's getting unsafe they will replace the receiver and anything else that needs replacing. The cost to me will be Zero. The gun has a lifetime guarantee.
