Are they (LA Police Gear) reliable? I havent seen that type of pistol grip anywhere else...

Get on the mailing list, wait for a sale. I just got a Streamlight TRL-1 weaponlight for $88.50 (Normally only $99 I think, retail $180). It was backordered, but they shipped it today...wasn't in a hurry, just wanted that price.

I bought 6 pairs of desert digital 5.11 pants and shirts from them for something stupid like $10 each .$15 in Rit dye and I had cheap hunting clothes in creative camo schemes: light green comes close to ACU,darker green yields a very effective pattern for summer woods and light brown got an incredibly good result for fall-winter.I was very happy with their service and also got some great deals on Surefire lights and Kershaw knives from them.

Will they ship "evi" stuff like forward pistol grips, collapsing stocks, etc. to residents of California?

Be funny if they do, since other places like Chepaer Than Dirt or Sportsmans Guide could care less about this state.

I'd suggest a Ultimak upper handguard rail instead of the one shown. They are well made, rock solid, and allow you to co-witness your iron sights to your red dot, if thats what your thinking of mounting there.
