I do not know the individual or have a whole lot of information but thought a theft of this size was worth noting here so people are aware they are floating around. It occurred in Port Huron, Michigan.

What follows is a copy of the article out of the local paper. I'm not direct linking it because I would rather people from THR steer clear of the comment thread on the article.

Port Huron Police are looking for the individuals involved in a Sept. 20 break-in at a Pine Street home in which 60 firearms were stolen.

Police believe entry to the home, in the 1300 block of Pine Street, was made through the front door.

Once inside, the suspects stole 60 firearms, including handguns, rifles and shotguns.

Investigators ask that if you know of anyone who has recently come into possession of numerous or suspicious guns, to call authorities.

If you have information regarding this or any crime, call the CAPTURE hot line at (810) 987-6688 or go online to www.porthuron.org and look for the CAPTURE logo.

Rewards of up to $1,000 are available for tips that lead to a suspect's capture. You do not have to identify yourself. You may remain anonymous.

That's everything I know, I just figured that 60 firearms stolen in an area just north of the Metro Detroit Region was worth letting people know. If anything develops I will update the thread.

I found the article.

I'm not responsible for heart attacks, strokes, aneurysms other violent reactions your body may have upon seeing the level of commentary at that paper.

I'm used to reading stupid comments on non-THR sites. But yeah, a lot of people just don't get it about guns.

I saw this on the news last night. It looks like many of the guns were commerative Winchester rifles.

Someone obviously knew about them and targeted this guy specifically.
