"Marine outboard engines it will put the stops on as well.

Happened one evening off the Florida Keys. Go Fast boat running from us and also shooting at us. I returned fire hit the engines. It was actually a VERY lucky shot as I was shooting at the guy that was shooting at us. He ducked behind the engines and I shot. Shut them down right there. They gave up, we secured the contraband and them."

Let me guess. You worked for Customs back then. I have a neighbor who worked Customs in the Keys in the 80's.

I've owned three .44 Magnums, my current one being a Ruger Redhawk with a 5 1/2" barrel and the Ruger "hunting" sights (small gold bead on a post for a front sight). This gun is very accurate.

The .44 Magnum is a superb hunting handgun and with the right loads, can take a good deal of the large game in the lower 48. It has taken pretty much everything around the world over the last 55 years.

Is a 180gr. big enough for deer? The reason I ask is I see everyone talking about 240 gr.

Hello all,
Well I don't hunt but I do shoot a Dan Wesson 44 magnum and this gun can shoot.:D

I never tried satilites but I tried long distance and this is what I got, using a 300gr bullet and a max charge of Lil-Gun.:D

That first pic. shouldn't be there, and I can't delete it oh well.
