Law Enforcement Ammo Thread

Hello guys. Recently saw a LEO pistol thread. I'm kind of curious as to what they put in them!

So, what caliber/loadings do your local LEOs use? (Or Federal)

My Kimber is loaded with .45 ACP 230 grain gold dots.

My dept uses 180 grn Federal HSTs in .40 and the same in 230 grn flavor for .45.

Hydrashock .40 cal. What i have in my guns because if its ever needed, i can't be accused of using some crazy magic cop killing bullet... its the same as our local PD's finest use.

Remington 9mm 115 +P jhp and .45 185 jhp(non +P ). Both the old-style hollowpoint, not the newer generation type. Both feed well, but VERY Hi Flash in low light.

+1 on the Remington Golden Saber 165gr in .40

What GRIZ22 means to say is we get ammo from who ever bids the lowest price for the annual contract. For the past couple years it has been Federal 9BP
