and they wanted way too much for the replacement part.
That's ridiculous. Repairs should be free of charge.
I've only had one problem with a Crimson Trace and Streamlight TLR-2.
In both cases the laser was replaced free, including the shipping back to me.
In both cases I couldn't even tell the company when I bought the laser (years ago).
Come to think of it, I did have the laser bulb come loose in my first LaserMax shortly after I bought it.
Instead of giving me a new laser they glued the bulb in place. Looked like a ten year old did the job. I gave the laser away.
Quality lasers do cost a lot but in this case you do get what you pay for.
At the moment the Streamlight TLR-2 is acting up on my KSG. I have already called Streamlight and they said to send it in, no problem, even though I don't know when I bought this laser.
As you can tell I'm a fan of Crimson Trace and Streamlight.
Taurus with 357 SIG barrel. Night stand gun.
XDS 45 with Crimson Trace rail laser.
Ruger SR22 with CT low light laser practice gun. I shoot this gun a LOT in low light. No telling how many Wal Mart 550 bulk packs have gone through this gun in low light laser practice.
Ruger SR9/40C with CT. Very nice defense gun.
Ruger PX4 with Streamlight TLR-2. Another nightstand gun.
Remington 870 with Sreamlight TLR-2
Bad Guy shot with the Remington 870 using the laser in low light. (the picture was taken the next morning in daylight)
All shots, fast firing from the hip.
Buckshot in the chest from 17 yards.
Slugs in the butt and small target shot from 26 yards.
Crimson Trace on S&W revolvers.
AR with Streamlight and Red Dot. HD gun kept by the nightstand.
I installed a rail and Streamlight on this Ruger for a night time practice gun. It is also my walking around the place at night flashlight and critter gun.
Very handy setup.
Got the laser sighted in at 30 yards.
Shooting using the iron sights and light is OK but slower and not as accurate as when using the laser.
Another good HD gun, the CZ40P.
