I currently have a 9mm LCR, if I am able to find a LCR 357 Magnum cylinder, could I use it to fire 38/357Magnum out of my 9mm LCR frame ??? Has anyone tried or done this ??? Thanks for any info. God Bless :)

Don't waste your time, or Rugers time.
They will just tell you NO.

Ruger has a longstanding policy of not fitting conversion cylinders to guns not frame marked as convertable with both calibers.

I have no firsthand knowledge of the gun in question.

But just glancing at the LCR photos on Rugers website?
It appears the 9mm cylinder is slightly shorter then the .357 cylinder.
With a slight amount more barrel shank sticking through the frame window on the 9mm.

That would preclude a .357 cylinder closing in a 9mm frame.

There is also the matter of bore size.

9mm barrels are typically .355" bore.

.357 barrels are, emmmmm?
Oh, .357" bore.

Buy another gun. Probably not a lot more expensive than a conversion, anyway.

I bought a Blackhawk Convertible a while back mostly for shooting 9x19 in. I must admit, it's a versatile gun for me and I like it a lot, but not exactly a light DA carry. :D I might carry it occasionally, though, when our new open carry law goes into effect next month. Won't exactly be a regular deal, though.

I'm not sure why you want a .357 in an LCR, though. Yeah, it's capable of a bit more, but 9x19+P is a pretty decent round, certainly hotter than .38 special, and the LCR has the advantage of moon clips. :D But, there are other reasons that are more esoteric, I understand. Reason for my Blackhawk was simply that I wanted to have it in 9x19 because I have a Dillon progressive set up for the specific caliber. It's fun to plink with when it's tough to find .22 and even factory ammo isn't expensive. BUT, now I'm finding more and more .22, still like the gun, though. :D

And, may the Lord bless you, too. :D
