Anyone know who makes speed loaders for Ruger LCR revolvers (not interested in "speed" strips)? I recently purchased an LCR chambered in .38 Special but I can't find a speed loader maker specifying a loader for the LCR. I tried using an HKS loader made for an S&W, J-frame revolver chambered in .38 Special and, although it worked, it seemed more difficult than "usual" to accomplish the task. Also, who makes a speed loader for an LCR chambered in .327 Federal Magnum?

Thanks for any advice or recommendations.

The HKS is as stated a poor fit. Safariland will not work at all.
5 Star from what i have read is the best fit.

I also have an LCR in 327. I emailed 5 Star a while back and inquired about a loader for the LCR 327 as it was not on their web page. They said it was in production and the site had not been updated. I have not been back to look. The 5 star seem to be the best option out there from reviews. They are pricey.

The LCR 327 loaded with H&R mag rounds is sweet. Loaded with 32 s&w longs is almost Heaven.

Thank you for informing about the 5 star, i'll have to look it up. I've had 3 hks speed loaders for my 327 lcr. I lost one but the other two broke, so I don't think much is to be said about the quality ov them.
