Lead Bullet In P7?

I have tried out my snazzy new (OK, so its almost 20 years old ) P7PSP and love it. Thanks, Techmike.
Anyway, thinking about the weird rifling made me wonder if it was OK to shoot lead bullets through it. Maybe it was preferable to shoot lead since lead is easier to clean out a barrel and makes for less wear. But I don't know. Chex, our pet bunny, didnt know either. Thats why I come here to ask questions.

While they say to avoid shooting lead bullets in a Glock which has the same polygonal rifling because it leads excessively, the P7 has another problem. Bits of lead will will enter the hole at the edge of the chamber and either foul the recoil piston or block the hole . So - no lead bullets in a P7. My P7 was inspected in detail after 10,000 rounds of jacketed bullets, full loads. I could find no wear, only polishing of the contact surfaces and no wear in the barrel , which of course is chrome plated !! Mine is also a PSP, so if you are really unhappy send yours to me so mine will have a companion !

Ditto; definitely contraindicated, because it will slowly shave lead into the gas port, turning the pistol from a delayed blowback into a straight blowback. They're too nice to treat roughly, besides
