Is there any problem in using lead bullets in a CZ 75b,CZ SP-01 Shadow(Angus accuracy job) or a CZ 97 BD.I am concerned about the type of rifling used in these CZ pistols.

Thanks for all your expertise. buddhas

I think the lead in jacketed bullets is softer than hard cast lead bullets.

Also the lead in jacketed bullets is swaged (pushed into form, not melted) while hardcast are melted and poured into a form

No problem with the rifling, however...

All 356 bullets keyholed in my 75bd. I had to use a 358 diameter designed for the 38 Special. Even then the gun has such a short leade, that profile has to be loaded very short, otherwise it jams hard.

My 452 bullets shoot fine in my 97b.

The only problem I had with lead bullets in my CZ-75 was leading when using the lighter bullets at ca 1100 fps. I switched to the 147 gr. cast lead bullet at ca 900 fps and that avoids the leading problem.

No problems at all. Depending on bullet choice you may need to seat your bullets a bit deep. The Missouri "Small Ball" 124gr, for example needs to be seated down to about 1.05" because the leade in the CZ barrels is very short.
