Arcus 98-dac... until u need a spare part. Then u'll be in big trouble. And no, parts r not inter exchangeable with the hi power.

I'd have to say my Bulgaian Makarov. Picked it up last week for $200 which is a steal compared to what I've seen most of them going for recently (though they are all cheap enough that they'd still fit in the "inexpensive gun" category). I'd also include my surplus S&W Model 19 that I got for $325. It has a good bit of holster wear, but it is a great shooter.

Hi-Point

My one and only handgun - a Hi-Point C9. 342 rounds fmj fired for 99% reliability. Good sights, easy to clean and soft recoil. :D

Makarov

Love my little Russian Mak. Inexpensive, never fails to feed or fire. Accurate (about as good as I can shoot) feels good in the hand and is a part of history. As I recall was under $200 when I bought it.

The Ruger P series is always high on the list of inexpensive, favorite autoloaders. I paid $340 for my P97(45acp). Most complaints are that they are chunky. I agree they are, but they just work great. I paid $350 for my P345(45acp). The P345 was redesigned to be much more ergonomic(thinner).

Paid $220 for a really nice Mauser HSC .380. The guy had lousy pics and everyone was a afraid to bid I guess and I took the leap. No regrets. Liked it so much I bought 2 more, one nickel plated. It's the one in the middle but I did spend another $80 on grips.

I have one, love the pistol, hate the mag release!

I have a little over $700 in these two stainless pieces.

In my opinion the Smith & Wesson 5906 and others of that generation are greatly undervalued.

Second vote on the Walther P1. Got mine for $350 basically unfired condition. Would also love to find a nice 3rd gen S&W for around the same price.

Luger M80 - FEG Hi Power 9x19mm less than $275
Multiple CZ82's 9x18mm each less than $225
Beretta 950B .25 ACP for $200
Yugo M57 Tokarev 7.62x25mm less than $200

CZ50 .32 ACP less than $150

That is just a hair over $1,000. for these five pistols OTD. I like them a lot, but not as much as I like Waveski's $700. worth of S&W 9mm's in post #36!

My Ruger P95DC

My wife has claimed it as her own. I traded a MkIII 22/45 and a brick of .22lr for it about 2 years ago. No problems and shoots great.

A P3AT a buddy gave me........beat to hell.............had it re-built for all of 70 bucks by KT.......chromed slide & all internals.

Had the thing now for nearly five years, ran hundreds of rounds thru it without a single failure with the exception of those hard primered Wolf rounds, tho even they fired when struck a second time.

Walther PPX 9mm. Can be had for $375 new. I have one and it's had zero malfunctions of any kind in over 2500 rounds.

Considering the price of guns these days, I think $400 for a brand new Sig SP2022 is a great deal. I've not regretted buying mine one single time. It is easily worth half that again IMO.

Favorite least expensive auto would probably be my Manurhin P1. Relatively inexpensive when I got it, it's been very reliable and fun to shoot at the range.
