Lee "APP" press

I did finish the APP's collator and fed some .357 brass, which is the hardest of the four I've tried. Just a little tweak here and there and it runs like a top. Now jus have to finish the downtubes for .45, .40, and 9mm. Downtubes are the only thing to change between pistol calibers it's designed for. At the end of the video I demonstrate how fast they can change out. TylerR gets all the credit. He made the APP way more versatile than stock.

I posted a video tonight in.....
What have you done in the reloading room today

Hey guys I just got done doing 3 th 9 mm 500 45 acp and 200 223 it’s a great press did have the Average Jams more in 9 mm but all in all it’s was used with the lee undersizer dies in 9 mm 45 acp and rcbs small base 223 die the 223 was resized again in the small base die from the full length die because I was getting stuck case in my a r now these case were sized trimmed and primed ready for reloading I use Hornady one shot case lube what u think about tumbling these primed case in my tumbler with Crushed walnut shells? Just about a 1/2 hour to get the lube off Hornady said the spray lube wouldn’t hurt primers thanks Ron

I want to see a Lee App in all metal! Would you pay $200 for one???

It wouldn’t hurt them at all. However, I use Hornady OneShot and I do not remove it from my cases.
It doesn’t contaminate anything and is dry to the touch, it won’t pick up lint and dirt.
It also eases function in magazine fed firearms, as the cases are lubricated still.

I would use it everywhere but it’s expensive, so only the important locks get it.

Yea that’s what I thought thanks for the info,
As for a all metal one you really don’t need metal parts if you don’t go over 45 acp maybe 44 mag and 223 case lube is the trick even if you use carbide dues easy Peezy I did 3 different calibers about 3500 total now I am ready to load on the Dillion square deal in 9 mm and 45 acp as for the 223 I am a bench shooter in a custom AR I build 2 years ago so I load about 100 every 2 weeks for the outdoor range I go to so I want them to be as accurate as I can make them 6.5 creedmoor is my best 200 yard puppy 3B35B122-78CF-43AC-B251-C446011F6EA3.jpeg 3B35B122-78CF-43AC-B251-C446011F6EA3.jpeg 3020E8F6-D665-4F98-AD43-018139789431.jpeg 89D07CD9-8963-44AE-AB59-F11C48AE73FE.jpeg 3B35B122-78CF-43AC-B251-C446011F6EA3.jpeg 3020E8F6-D665-4F98-AD43-018139789431.jpeg 89D07CD9-8963-44AE-AB59-F11C48AE73FE.jpeg
