I heard about this awhile back. I stuck a .50 BMG case on top of my ram and wondered "Now how do you get the bullet in the seater die and more importantly get the loaded round out?" It seemed like it would be longer than the clearance in the press allows.

I have two of these presses. I love them, I can't see any reason to put out the extra money for the RockChucker.

Infact I was in the market for a new single stage press. I gave the Lee a try and ordered another. I gave my RockChucker to my brother in law who wanted to get into reloading. The cam is bigger than the Rockchucker,So I would think that the Lee would handle the 50 fine.
