Looking at purchasing a classic turret for .40 and .223, all my dies are hornady currentely being used on a hornady single stage. Can I use the hornady dies or will I need to purchase new ones?

7/8-14 die body threads are standard. Both Lee and Hornady use this standard size on their presses and dies. So, yes, use 'em...

If you use the Lee Powder Thru Expanding Die, you can mount a Lee Pro Auto-Disk on top of the die to dispense the powder.

If you want to use the Pro Disk for 223 you need to buy the rifle charging die for about $13. Most but not all .223 powder charges require the double disk kit.
I don't know if the charge die for pistol is available as a seperate part or not if you are not using the case activated Pro disk I would think you could drop powder into pistol cases with the rifle charge die.
The Lee pistol charge dies are doing the case flare so they are caliber specific.
Other than that the deis you have should be fine and the Hornady shell holders should work as well.

I think you will like the turret press.
