Everyone always raves about Dillon and RCBS's customer service, but you rarely hear anything about Lee.

The carbide sizing ring for my Lee 500 S&W sizing die cracked after a few hundred round. Called Lee, they said to send it in for repair/replacement. When I got back from the post office later that day I had an email from Lee stating that my replacement part had already been shipped!

I have a fair amount of Lee stuff. Most from the 60's and none of it ever broken or worn out, so I have no idea how their customer service is. :D

The best CS is the one you never need. Unfortunately I have had to call Lee only because I tore something up & after explaining what I tore up & how they wouldn't sell me the parts & insisted on replacing them.

Since I had planed on spending a few bucks anyhow I bought some new tools while I was on the phone with her.

I have dealt with RCBS & Hornady also. While RCBS is second to none Hornady will fix the problem but it isn't there fault & they never offer a extra bean in the bowl.

I've called them a number of times...once when the 45 colt case mouth expander wouldn't expand the case mouth (they'd shipped one for acp) and I had the right one in a couple days. Once when a die set arrived at the shop without a decapping pin. Had a whole new die in a few days. Once for a bad shell plate on one of the semi-wonderful progressives..new one in a few days.
They are quick and responsive. Now if they could just cut the hype a little. Oh, yeah...and make a primer feed for the progressives that works ten out of ten times.

I have never had to use their warranty and I have numerous Lee products. I think they make great stuff.:)

I send a care package to them every year or two. Usually decapping pins I broke doing stupid stuff, AutoDisk hoppers with stripped screw holes, Once a mold that was made way oversize with chatter marks, and a die that had been drilled off center.
Everything was back to me by the end of the week and usually with a nice note explaining it was free and how to improve my processes.

Only thing I've had to replace was the small primer ram, the cup of which I mangled priming military brass (within my first 500 rounds or so)... emailed lee, asked them what the price was for a replacement, they sent me another no charge. I love the LCT.

+1 for Lee CS. I am a new reloader, and bought Lee gear as an economical way to dip my toe in. A few weeks ago I sent an email to Lee's CS to get a Q answered (which I would have answered myself if I had read more closely :banghead:
). She answered promptly and professionally, and even after I admitted my mea culpa for not reading the obvious she was friendly and courteous.

I have worked many years in the CS field and I can assure you all that it takes true professionalism to deal with all the PETTY LITTLE PROBLEMS like mine was on a continual basis. :)
