I've read, and been told, that they will. Need to get my Dillon set up and see though. I'm sure some people will tell you to only use Dillion dies, Dillon grease to lube the 550, and only drink Dillon bottled water while you reload.
They have 7/8x14 threads so they will fit the toolhead.
Depending on their age you might have to fool around with the lock nuts. Older Lee dies have shorter threaded sections than Dillon and I have read of people putting the lock nuts under the toolhead. Or it might be enough to just use the thin Dillon nuts. Or they might work as is. Certainly worth the effort to get the use out of dies on hand.
I have several 550 die heads set up with Lee dies. They work just fine.
Because they are a little short, my method of locking their adjustment is to throw away the rubber O-ring, and flip the locking not over. (use it upside down). This way I can still use the locking nut on top.
LubeckTech,
Thanks for asking a good question.
Not trying hijack the thread.
How does the Dillon powder measure hook up to the Lee die? There is nothing wrong with Dillon dies, but I can get Lee cheaper & more places. (even used)
