RustyFN...Lee FCD for .30-30 does resize the case if you have a minor crushed shoulder...Yes...I know Walkalong, but .30-30 brass is quite delicate at the shoulder and sometimes needs help when I get a bit rough...

Thanks Bushmaster. I was under the impression from the Lee site that only pistol FCD's had the post sizing ring. Learn something new every day.

Sorry Bushmaster, Rusty was right. The parts list for the 30-30 FCD on Lee's website has a full length collet (caliber and length specific), but a generic medium length body (same as 308 Win/303 Savage FCD and others). It does not have a post sizing ring. One would not work anyway, because there is too much taper on the body for a post sizing ring to work (it would not touch the shoulder or upper body).

I crimp if the bullet has a cannelure. I don’t crimp if it doesn’t.
