Anyone have one? Saw the catalog entry, and it's tempting for the price, but how long did your's survive? Couple pulls and everything broke?

Mine didn't work as promoted... Like many Lee products, ingeniously designed, shoddily made...:cuss: Shame they won't sell their designs to someone that could make them properly.:what:

Save your money...

I like Lee stuff, and have decided that their Perfect Powder Measure is as good as any on the market at any price. Laugh if you like, but when you've got a 20 dollar measure that'll stay within .1 of a grain with most powders, it's ridiculous to spend more.

The Lee Collet dies will make as good of ammo as you'll make with 100 dollar a set dies.

But that Zip Trim thing is an insufferable joke. Just use a cordless drill.

I was under the impression that it would spin like a gyro wheel when I ordered the thing, but it only spins while you're pulling the string. So you have to pull the string a few times to trim each case. It makes no sense to me...

Lee Zip Trim

I'm not crazy about disagreeing with everybody, but my Lee Zip Trim works just fine for me. Had been using their trimmer and a drill before the Zip Trim came along, which also worked, but the Zip Trim is handier.

De gustibus non disputatem est, I guess. . . .

Well, I just picked up a cordless 9.6V drill for only $10 so I guess it's a mute point now... :)

Now I just need the stuff to be able to use to trimmer and such with the drill.
