Are there any semi-auto .22 pistols that can be easily used by a lefty? The Walther P22 is the only one that I know of. Any others I might consider?

left .22s

Hey,

I have owned or shot most .22s for lefties except one ...

There is the Beretta Neos, owned one, nice but I prefered the P22. It is to big to carry around and be a "fun gun", yet not more accurate then a Ruger so it isnt a target gun.

The only other ambi 22lr I know of is the Beretta Cheetah in .22lr. It is a mini 92 of sorts. It has the ambi safety, 8 shot, nice wood grips and nice finish. They are made in Italy by Beretta, not in the USA which some people say give them a slight edge in quality. I covet one but they do run about $400-500.

Taurus PT22s and Beretta Tomcats are ambi, tiny little last chance firearms.

Revolvers, like the SW Titanium models are very nice. Another high price choice.

If you are looking for a strict "target gun" yet resonable costs, go RUGER and dont sweat the speed of safety removal etc etc (MOA). If a plinker, woods and fun gun go P22 w/ 3.5" barrel, you will not regret it. Just shoot 500 rds of high velocity stuff through it at the beggining to break it in, just like any .22lr
