When we bought the Moss500 for the other project the store manager asked if we'd be interested in taking a Legacy Escort pump 12ga off his hands for sale price minus 20%. For $145 we figured we'd put it to some sort of use, and since our Legacy semi-auto has worked so well we figured it would be a durable shotgun. We were running this shotgun thru the same time we did the Mossberg so I wanted to do a relatively simple upgrade so we turned off the rifle sight and installed our KA-1212 brake/suppressor unit on the barrel. I contacted Craig at GunConnection (MAX100 here) about getting a custom length mag extension and he sent us one specially turned to 5-3/8" long that would be flush with the end of the KA-1212. After getting all the metal work done we blasted, parked, and Duracoated the entire gun in matte black. We also added a Wolff mag spring, ST no-jam follower, and HiViz front bead. The gun is very lightweight and holds 7+1 shells. BTW, the mag extension Craig sent us is extremely well made and very lightweight, I would highly recommend them.
