Legality of civilian national security force as strong as the military?

I just saw this comment from Barrack Obama posted on youtube:

He said "we cant continue to rely on the military for national security, we need a civilian national security force that is just as strong as the military and just as well funded."

What the heck is he talking about the Gestapo?, brown shirts?

And what will their role be in the USA?


Can the president legally constitute and fund a new militia?,
Will they be used to keep us in line and confiscate our assault weapons??

Following the end of another war 80+ years ago, with a country finding it self broke, money worthless, few jobs and inflation out of control they held an election.
The winner was a charismatic individual that promised change and economic progress where everyone would be better off. First he was elected, then he organized his own military seperate from the government but answering only to him. Once he had complete control of the government, stacked the courts with his cronies and confiscated the firearms from those opposed to him, things really started going down hill. He invaded neighboring countries, had his opposition and those that looked different rounded up, sent to camps, executed and cremated or mass buried.
That my friend became was recognized as National Socialism but better remembered as the Nazi movement.

Just stand by till after the election. If he wins then you will know in short order about brown shirts. If he loses then you get to keep your guns and the life you have.

He wants to ban personally owned guns, but wants a "civilian security force" and how would that make anything more secure than using the military???

Am I alone in hoping that this does actually happen? We will be able to live out our S&T wet dreams of revolution, and if we're lucky, a recently immigrated witch doctor will come along and turn all the casualties into zombies and we can have two disasters/lifelong dreams happen at the same time.

It could only get better if dinosaurs somehow got loose.
